Cage the Elephant have quickly become one of my favorite over the last few years. The first time I saw them live, I stumbled upon them at a festival while waiting for another band to start. And they completely blew me away with their performance. Their newest album Tell Me I’m Pretty was my favorite album of 2015 so you can imagine how excited I am to hear those songs live. I will finally get my chance when Cage the Elephant headlines Connection Fest in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, July 23, 2016 (See the full lineup and WIN VIP Tickets below).

If Cage the Elephant isn’t enough to get you excited for this amazing festival, the rest of the lineup is stacked with favorites from all different genres. The legendary Wu-Tang Clan will make a rare live appearance at Connection Festival — their first time in Florida in years. If you are more of a punk rock fan, Connection Festival has you covered with bands like Taking Back Sunday, Against Me!, and The Bouncing Souls. The lineup also features local favorites Beebs and Her Moneymakers, Control This!, dirty south punk rockers, Whole Wheat Bread, and to top it all off the festival is hosted by The Weasel himself Pauly Shore (Check out the full schedule below).

The 3rd annual Connection Fest will kick off at noon on Saturday, July 23rd at Metropolitan Park in downtown Jacksonville, FL. Guests will enjoy a variety of food, drink, art and business vendors with goods and services available for purchase under the Florida sun.

Festival Highlights:

    • Waterslides by Space Walk of Jacksonville
    • Air-conditioned Jax Movie Mob tent with free movie screenings and giveaways
    • Air-conditioned Silent Disco tent (free admission for VIP guests, $10 day wristband for GA guests)
    • Water-misters throughout festival grounds
    • Graffiti Wall
