Underneath the impactful headline, “Benefit for the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida & Wildpath,” there’s a subtle nod to the occasion with small letters that read, “Celebrating Norsekorea’s 13 Year Anniversary.” Those smaller letters resonate most profoundly as they encapsulate the heart and soul of the event, emphasizing the dedication, passion, and hard work that Kyle Raker and the Norsekorea team have invested over the past 13 years. This anniversary marks a milestone for Norsekorea, showcasing their unwavering commitment to the music community and their enduring impact on Orlando’s vibrant cultural landscape. As they bring together a diverse array of talented performers, the 13th Anniversary Show becomes a testament to the lasting influence of Norsekorea in shaping and enriching the local music scene. This event promises not only a fantastic showcase of musical talent but also an opportunity for the community to come together in support of environmental conservation.
The Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to protect our outstanding animals and plants and the lands and waters they need to survive. They are committed to accountability and transparency and make full use of widely accepted nonprofit governance and management best practices. Wildpath’s mission is to inspire the appreciation and protection of wild places. They seek to tell powerful stories that raise awareness of conservation issues that inspire policy makers, businesses, communities, and citizens to take action. They are currently telling the story of the Florida panther and the land it needs to survive. As the last big cat surviving in the eastern United States, and the state animal of Florida, the panther is an icon of Florida’s last wild places. Through impactful storytelling in collaboration with the National Geographic Society and a network of partners, Path of the Panther works to inspire the conservation of the land the Florida panther needs to survive — the Florida Wildlife Corridor — which serves both humans and wildlife. As Norsekorea marks its 13th year, this show exemplifies their enduring commitment to both the local music scene and the well-being of the environment. It’s set to be a memorable day filled with great performances, laughter, and the collective spirit of celebrating thirteen years of Norsekorea’s invaluable contributions to Orlando’s cultural landscape.
