Amanda Starling, Staff Writer & Photographer

Three words describe me: writer, artist, punster. But this St. Pete girl is a live music addict, chasing shows from skate park warehouses in Tampa to sweating through sets at packed music festivals.
I’m constantly inspired by musicians, which shows in my writing and artwork. And, maybe in my ever-growing vinyl collection, too. Huey Lewis and the News was one of my first favorite bands, courtesy of daily ‘80s pop and rock brainwashing from my parents, so expect to find copies of Genesis records stacked near my AFI and RVIVR spins.
I like a good joke, but my addiction to punk isn’t one of them. I’m open to most sounds, but anything involving an ethereal guitar solo and smashing drums makes me giddy.
