Big Sam began his career playing the trombone for Dirty Dozen Brass Band and touring 300 days out of the year. His tireless work ethic led him to play to with Widespread Panic and the Dave Matthews Band, but there was something missing for him. He wanted to take center stage and wanted to influence the crowd. He wanted to lead the funk. 

He gathered the best of New Orleans funk and brought us the Funky Nation we know today.

From funk to hip-hop, jazz to rock, and the heavy-laden grooves of their New Orleans roots, Big Sam and the guys will be taking you to the moon & back next Friday night. Tampa-based acts, The Reality and C-Rena will be starting off your evening with some grooves, themselves.
