By this point in time, we ought to have accepted the sad fact that there really is no way in hell Led Zeppelin is going to get back together. We’ve hoped. We’ve wished. Even offered ungodly sums of money to that curly-haired singer to put his tight pants back on to stroll down memory land along with us. Let’s just be happy Robert Plant is still singing, okay?

That said, we can still enjoy the songs and albums they have given us. We can turn up our radios, spin our records and scream along as best we can. And if you happen to be around this coming Friday, you can see some fine musicians at Hard Rock Live Orlando play Led Zeppelin’s stunner of a debut album—Led Zeppelin 1, the one with the Hindenburg on its cover—note for blessed note (Jan. 23, 8pm). It’ll almost be like the real thing (win tickets below).

Here’s something you might not know about the album: it’s ranked No. 29 on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” as well it should be. Think about the songs it lodged into our collective memory: “Good Times Bad Times,” “Dazed and Confused,” “Your Time Is Gonna Come,” and—one of my personal mix tape favorites—“I Can’t Quit You Baby.”

So head to Hard Rock Live Orlando and enjoy one of your favorites. While we make no real promises, if you go and close your eyes real tight, it might actually feel like Jimmy, Robert, John Paul and John are there and playing for you. Sorta like hopping into a time machine and visiting your memories. And what’s not to like about that?
