They’re song “Drinkee” earned a Grammy nod in 2017 for “Best Dance Recording.” The track is sung by the enigmatic Sofi who dexterously moves from chanting Portuguese and picking out the addicting guitar line which lies underneath bongos while Tukker fervently reverberating the sample pads.
We were fortunate enough to sit down with the rising twosome before their incredible performance at Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. Some kid even threw up on stage … yeah, I don’t say they bring the f*cking party lightly.
We talk upcoming material, best friend secrets, and how “Drinkee” is not nonsense.
