Sweden punk rockers Millencolin roll into St. Petersburg on Sunday, May 22nd to play at show at State Theatre with special guest Success opening up the show. Enter the giveaway contest below to WIN 2 TICKETS!

Millencolin released their latest album True Brew in 2015 on punk rock skater label Epitaph Records. The album returns to the roots of faster punk rock reminiscent of their 90’s releases and ends an era of a more alternative rock sound since 2000’s Pennybridge Pioneers. Prior to the release of True Brew, it had been a long seven years since their previous album, Machine 15, was released in 2008. The new album is more political in tone with references to condemning the rise of right-wing populist parties in many European countries. There are also positive jams with a universal message of living the life you want while finding freedom and being true to yourself.

Opening up the show is the Seattle punk-pop quartet, Success. Their songs are catchy, with plenty of sing-alongs provided. They cite being influenced by classic pop-punk bands such as Big Drill Car and The Mopes, as well as more famous names such as Descendents and All, and even the Spin Doctors. They released their fourth album, Radio Recovery, in 2015.
