Lucero just about perfected the sound before infusing more Memphis Soul in their tunes. Drive-by Truckers occasionally venture down that road. Few bands attempt it and pull off the feat. Two Cow Garage is one of those bands. The trio from Ohio sounds like a musical representation of the state’s common man. During the live show, they transport you into the shoes of those folks. Never taking off a song while bringing intense, sad tales of real life in Middle America.”
