Fronzilla Doesn’t Have Much Left To “Prove” | Attila Live Review and Photos | The Beacham Orlando | November 15 2014

by • December 17, 2014

Lead singer, Chris “Fronzilla” Fronzack, plays whatever kind of music he wants to, and in his words, does not “give two fucks.” This show was different though. It was here in Orlando, about 500 miles from Attila’s hometown, but you couldn’t it wasn’t a hometown show, judging by the packed house I walked into the Beacham. I knew this show and night were going to be epic.

I lived in Georgia for a year and heard all the hype about shock rockers in the band called Attila while I was there. I actually caught them at a hometown show last year in Atlanta at The Masquerade. I left that show blown away by the amount of support they got.  So, getting word I was going to be covering them here in Florida, I went in knowing some of what to expect in regards to their show, and to be honest, I loved it.

The night started with heavy hitting opening acts Sworn In, Like Moths to Flames, and Crown The Empire. They not only got the crowd pumped but were great compliments on the tour bill who I sincerely enjoyed watching perform. A little past 8:30, Attila took the stage and things instantly got wild.

Dressed in a blacked out outfit, Fronzilla and the guys in Attila ignited the crowd with their blend of crude lyrics, heavy hitting guitars, and some wicked breakdowns. At one point, Fronzilla, brought his young son, Blaise, out to say hello to the crowd. You could tell that the people in the audience weren’t just a fan of the band, but also a fan of the man himself known as Fronzilla. That array of “awwwwwes” coming from the crowd echoed in The Beacham.

Attila treated the Orlando attendees to a special treat by allowing them to purchase their new CD, Guilty Pleasure, ten days earlier than the release. I grabbed a copy and haven’t put it down since. I certainly don’t see Attila going anywhere soon in this genre. In fact, I truly see them blowing up even bigger after this latest album release. If you get a chance to check out an Attila show, I highly recommend you do, go in with an open mind….you’ll need it!

My favorite song off the new album is called “Proving Grounds.” Check it out here:
