The “Real Sick Tour” will be making a stop at BackBooth, this Friday, May 15, 2015 and it’s SOLD OUT but, you can Win tickets below! The tour features a co-headlining bill of Chelsea Grin and The Word Alive which is a deathcore/metalcore fan’s dream. I can imagine these guys are going to blow the roof off of Backbooth. Don’t miss your chance to see both these bands in a very intimate setting.

Deathcore band, Chelsea Grin formed in 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah under the name Ahaziah. Their first two singles were released on MySpace and they soon found themselves with a decent following. Their debut album Desolation of Eden was released in February 2010. They have since released two more studio albums, their most recent album Ashes to Ashes was released in July of last year while the band was playing the entire Warped Tour (Check out Chelsea Grin’s newest video “Playing with Fire” below).

The Word Alive, from Phoenix, Arizona will be sharing the bill with Chelsea Grin on Friday. This metalcore band released their first EP Empire to great acclaim in 2009. The following year they released their debut full length album Deceiver on Fearless Records. The band is currently touring in support of their most personal album to date, appropriately titled, Real (Check out this live performance of “Playing the Victim” by The Word Alive below).
