Get excited everybody! One of the coolest bands Iāve ever seen is coming to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area on Saturday, April 23rdĀ to The Local 662! Do you know what band it is? Big D and the Kids Table!!! āWhoās that?ā, you ask? Only one of the best, and longest lasting ska bands I have ever had the privilege to see, and Iāve seen them all, from Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, to Less Than Jake and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones! But Big D is something special. They have a special kind of sound that really combines reggae/stroll and ska and punk, and of course, their live set is one that should not be missed!Ā WIN TICKETS BELOW! One of the longest lasting third wave ska bands still around, Big D and the Kids Table formed in 1995 in Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout the years, these hard skanking guys tour constantly, averaging around 200 shows a year! I was lucky to catch them on Warped Tour a couple of times, and let me tell you, I donāt know that Iāve ever danced harder!
