Get excited everybody! One of the coolest bands I’ve ever seen is coming to town on Wednesday, April 20^th to The Social! Do you know what band it is? Big D and the Kids Table!!! “Who’s that?” you ask? Only one of the best and longest lasting ska bands I have ever had the privilege to see, and I’ve seen them all: Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, to Less Than Jake and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones! But Big D is something special. They have a special kind of sound that really combines reggae/stroll and ska and punk, and of course, their live set is one that should not be missed! One of the longest lasting third wave ska bands still around, Big D and the Kids Table formed in 1995 in Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout the years, these hard skanking guys tour constantly, averaging around 200 shows a year! I was lucky to catch them on Warped Tour a couple of times and let me tell you, I don’t know that I’ve ever danced harder! Always extremely vibrant, loud, and having a ton of fun at the same time, Big D and the Kids Table is not a show to be missed! Check them out at The Social in Orlando on April 20th!
