Imagine Festival is back for its third year and at the rate it’s growing, there is no need to call it off. Imagine Festival started out in 2014 on Labor Day weekend, showcasing the best talent they could acquire. Fast forward three years and Imagine comes hard (no pun intended) with some of the hottest, head-banging, upcoming artists in the game today. Names like Excision, Borgore, and Dirty Phonics drop lines like “break your neck,” that make you … well, you get the hint.

Not every artist on the bill is going to put you in a neck brace. Festivals have to be diverse and Imagine knows that. Artists like Gramatik, Moon Hooch, and Thomas Jack have a different, more mellow sound that allows you to kick back and just enjoy the show they are putting on.

The EDM scene is at an all-time high. It’s a community where you can let your inner spirit fly free without the fear of judgment. This community was created with the idea of the P.L.U.R., Peace Love Unity Respect. With that being said, they find a way to give back to the world in a positive manner. This year, Imagine Festival teamed up with AQUA, which will have a 3D Water Hologram production at the main stage. AQUA is a heartwarming charity, based on the idea that music lovers can easily help others in need. There are AQUA ticket packages that include your 3-day pass, AQUA wristband, AQUA tank, and most importantly, you give the gift of water to children in Ghana for an entire year.

Another new addition this year is The Imagine Beach & Splash Pool, which gives Imagine-goers an opportunity to cool down with waterslide beach chairs and get down and dance in a splash pool. Imagine Festival is also reaching out to the spiritual attendees, producing a sanctuary called “The Imagarium,” modeled after the lost city of Atlantis. This haven will give you the opportunity to reconnect with your inner self if you feel you are at a crossroads, or for those who want to continue on their path towards inner peace. With workshops, flow arts, yoga, meditation, and Qigong, you will be able to enjoy your weekend in every way, shape or form.

This star-studded weekend is easier on your wallet than older festivals. There will be plenty of room you and your squad to dance the three nights away. Lastly, there are no needs to drive or have to pay for expensive hotels, Imagine Festival this year is introducing Camping! In my experience of festivals, there is nothing like the smell of Mary Jane and Maple Syrup in the morning as you wake up and walk around campsites, making new friends. 3-day festival passes are currently going for $230, VIP passes starting at $299 including Air Conditioned chill zone, front row pits, and many other worthy perks for a little over $70 more, and camping passes are at a little over $80 each. Camping DOES include showers, camping space for your tent, and most importantly AIR CONDITIONED BATHROOMS! Imagine Festival has some very impressive acts and theatrical surprises ready to blow your mind. Let yourself escape and let your beautiful spirit fly high as lasers and lights paint the sky of pretty colors.
