Allman Family Revival Tickets Tampa Clearwater 2022

The Allman Family Revival was created to remember the life and career of none other than Greg Allman. It originally began as a one-off concert in 2017 at The Fillmore in San Francisco to celebrate the late Gregg Allman’s life on what would have been his 70th birthday. Since then, they now tour over 18 cities across the USA. Before you make any assumptions, this is not just some cover-band made by the fans. Gregg’s own son Devon Allman and his group, The Devon Allman Project, will be featured as well as Duane Betts, son of the original Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts. In fact, this is not the first time Devon and Duane have performed their father’s songs together, as they formed The Allman Betts Band in 2018. Besides the sons of the original members, this tour will also be bringing us such talented acts like Donavon Frankenreiter, Maggie Rose, George Porter Jr, Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, Alex Orbison, and the River Kittens.

This annual tour is no mere cash grab either. Devon Allman and everyone else involved has made it clear that this tour is a celebration of life, love, and rock and roll, just as Greg would have wanted. “…Knowing Dad is looking down saying, ‘Damn, son, all that hot jammin’ for me?!’ I know he’s tickled that we celebrate him. Because none of us has to do this. We all have busy careers. This is a ‘want to’ situation; absolutely, 100% about music and celebration and tribute.”
