Warning! Please be advised! Zeds Dead will be dropping loads of electrifying bass bombs in Orlando on Thursday, August 6th at Venue 578.

This Canadian duo, known individually as DC and Hooks, has been making quite a name for themselves over the past decade with some incredible remixes and originals. Though they are probably best known for their dubstep flare, their style ranges extensively within the EDM genre and includes elements of hip hop, glitch, drum and bass, trap, and more.

Fun fact: The name Zeds Dead came from a quote from the movie, Pulp Fiction, just in case you didn’t already know. 🙂

I remember when I first heard their remix of “Paradise Circus” by Massive Attack. I was blown away. It’s still one of my absolute favorite dubstep remixes ever, even years later.

It’s apparent that their following is growing since they’ve been showing up more consistently on music festival lineups over the years. I would say the music is getting better too! Their latest full album, Somewhere Else, which came out last year, is still bumping fresh. Here’s the first track from it.

I’m excited to see what they have up their sleeves for this Orlando show. I’ve actually never seen them before, but I’ve had their songs in my music shuffle for a few years now so it’s due time to see what’s up. I hope you will join me for a good ol’ bass massage.
