Wilco returns to the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL on April 18th. It’s been over 20 years since their 2002 album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was released. Last year, they delivered a Deluxe Edition of the album containing 51 tracks! The A’s (Slyvan Esso + Daughter of Swords) will provide opening support on the “Spring 2023 Tour.” GET TICKETS HERE!

Wilco has evolved over the years into so much more than their country roots, formed out of Uncle Tupelo in 1994. It did not take long for Wilco to be awarded one of many Grammys starting with their 1998 album, Mermaid Avenue. Jeff Tweedy, lead vocalist and guitarist stated to Pitchfork News in 2022, “We’ve never been particularly comfortable with accepting that definition, the idea that I was making Country music. But now, having been around the block a few times, we’re finding it exhilarating to free ourselves within the form, and embrace the simple limitation of calling the music we’re making Country.” You can hear and see them embracing this freedom in their live performances and in their recent recordings.

Special guests, The A’s will be the opening act for Wilco on their world tour. Sylvan Esso’s Amelia Meath and Daughter of Swords’ Alexandra,Sauser-Monnig have come together to form a folk duo. The A’s 2022 debut album, Fruit, whispers little lullabies and weaves you into a sense of calm as you listen to their harmonies. A perfect opener to ease you into an evening to remember with Wilco.

Over the years Wilco has recorded twelve studio albums, five extended plays (EPs), multiple live albums, and twelve singles. All six members add a unique and complementary addition to this style of music that this Chicago based band has honed. From the samples and sound manipulation of Mikael Jorgensen to the lap steel guitar of Nels Cline, this new age form of folk country will have you tapping your feet and singing along in a heartbeat.
