Batten down the hatches, Emery and Norma Jean are coming to Bombshell’s Tavern on Thursday October 9th for the “Two Headed Monster Tour.” Night Verses, Artifex Pereo, and special guests City of Ifa and On To Omaha are scheduled to serve as the openers for the tour. Doors open at 6:00 pm and with a lineup this heavy, people are bound to leave Bombshell’s Tavern shocked. Enter to win tickets below!

Emery, the Seattle based, but South Carolina born, band, will be bringing their concoction of southern charm and post-hardcore roots to the Tavern. Emery is a band that shatters the preconceived notions of post-hardcore. Along with their fast riffs, piercing screams, and hypnotic synths, they bring with them a lyrical literacy.

Each album that Emery creates takes you through a gamut of emotions. Their latest album We Do What We Want is no exception to this experience. The opening track “The Cheval Glass” makes you want to rip off a door before it slips into an ethereal ambiance.

Norma Jean will be co-headlining, adding some Atlanta metalcore mojo to the mix.  I won’t be too surprised if a few people limp away from this show when tracks like “If You’ve Got It At Five, You Got It At Fifty” are set to play.

Prepare yourselves because Bombshell’s Tavern is going to be full of people ready to detonate.
