Their indie sound straddles the dotted white line between alternative rock and Americana. These guys are driven by the sound and style of the late, great, Tom Petty. His influence is evident as well as Dire Straits and even Bob Dylan. Fill up on their 2017 album, A Deeper Understanding. Arguably the most popular offering, it won a Grammy Award in ‘18 for Best Rock Album. It Contains their hit eleven minute single, “Thinking of a Place.” In October of 2021, The War on Drugs dropped their most recent album, I Don’t Live Here Anymore. They are “Living Proof” that this tour is worth the drive.
