I have to admit, I didn’t start listening to The Front Bottoms until recently. For months I have listened to my friends rave about this band but I never took the extra step to actually listen to their music. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon their “NPR Tiny Desk Concert” on YouTube that I finally gave them a proper chance and now I am a full-fledged fan. The Front Bottoms will be playing The Beacham on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 (Win tickets below). This show was originally supposed to be held at The Social but it sold so well it was moved to The Beacham which quickly sold out as well. The Smith Street Band from Australia, another band that I recently discover will be sharing the bill with The Front Bottoms. To be honest, I’m almost more excited to see these guys than The Front Bottoms. They sound like a mix between Frank Turner and The Gaslight Anthem and from the videos I have seen they put on a great live show. Check out this live performance of “Get High See Mice” below and see what I mean.

Elvis Depressedly from Ashville, North Carolina will be rounding out this great lineup of bands. I haven’t heard much from this band but the songs I have heard make me want to leave the house a little earlier to insure that I catch these guys.
