April 23rd. The Social. Fallujah, Disentomb, (hometown heroes) Mindscar and, of course…

The Black Dahlia Murder.

Truthfully, this preview was a struggle. I’ve been slowly trying to articulate just how incredibly awesome, how completely and utterly slaughterous this show is going to be… and I can’t. All I can say is this:

13 years.

For 13 years I’ve followed The Black Dahlia Murder and I’ve managed to catch them every time they’ve come to Florida for the last 7. This group of riff-dealing, bong-ripping, muscle-flexing madmen helped shape who I was to become during my formative years. Every album is the soundtrack to my life. Never for a single instance at any of their shows have I ever been disappointed.

So join me on this night, our horns raised high, we’ll move as one to the ebb and the flow – pulled like puppets by some preternatural force. We’ll gaze longingly into the gaping maws of hell and laugh as we revel in the onslaught.
