Most holiday parties, especially Ugly Sweater ones, are a cringe-inducing, forced social experience.
NOT. THIS. PARTY.
Sweater Fest is in its 12th year of bringing Orlando to its feet with the best local music, drink, lights, & yes, an amazing parade of sweaters.
America’s favorite musical holiday adventure is back! This time at a new venue — Stonewall — and we will be raising money for Orlando’s Zebra Coalition. (We’ll also be selling a few surprises for benefit and creating an online donation platform!)
We live in scary, divisive times, and nothing brings such exceptional humans together in a way quite like Sweater Fest.”
Bobby Hellmuth is at the helm of Dave Hanson’s creation, now and it’s become even more bright & beautiful than ever before.
Sweater Fest 2018 features two stages: Sweater Stage (outdoors) and the Sweatier Stage (indoors). Tickets available at the door. Arrive before 8pm and pay half price! — $5 — and a free shot of Captain Morgan! After 8:00 PM is $10.
This lineup is NO JOKE. Are you ready to get sweaty??

I consider Sweater Fest to be my favorite holiday, and long have before I began coordinating the event in 2017. It first evolved from party to festival when it was moved from a house to a 150-acre orange grove I lived on in the outskirts of Chuluota and Bithlo in 2011. I always assisted when I could, but Dave Hanson was the mastermind behind America’s favorite musical holiday adventure. In 2017, Dave said he wanted to pass the fest on to me and I happily accepted—unaware of the work that goes into coordinating any shows. However, letting my favorite holiday die was simply not an option. And I cannot accurately illustrate how grateful I am for all the assistance and insight I’ve been given from fellow Orlandians, such as Mitch, Megan, and everyone from Shows I Go To; Obuasi, Jim, Trey, and the rest of the Whatsit Entertainment crew; Tommy Mott of Space Bar and now Stonewall, along with Taylor Bulloch, Greyson of Someday River, Hannah and Nicole of Ugly Orange, Steve Head, Jose Henao, Matt from The Vinyl Warhol, and of course—our founding father, Dave Hanson (love you all <3)”
Sweater Fest, whether there be 150 people in attendance or 600, consistently brings out the great vibes and positive energy from the community. You’ll find yourself in an inevitable dance party with friends, old and new alike.
Start the dance party now & check out some of the amazing artists playing Sweater Fest who are out here in Orlando killing it!
