The SteelDrivers formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2005, and quickly gained a reputation for their unique blend of bluegrass and country music. The band consists of some of the most talented musicians in the industry, including fiddler Tammy Rogers, bassist Mike Fleming, guitarist/vocalist Matt Dame, mandolinist Brent Truitt, and banjoist Richard Bailey. Together, they create a sound that is both classic and modern, with a soulful, bluesy edge that sets them apart from the rest.

Over the years, the SteelDrivers have released multiple successful albums, including their self-titled debut in 2008, Reckless in 2010, and The Muscle Shoals Recordings in 2015. Since their creation, the SteelDrivers are no strangers to notoriety. The group was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009 for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for their song “Blue Side of the Mountain.” In 2010, the group received two more nominations for their second album, Reckless. The album has been nominated for both Best Bluegrass Album and Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for the song “Where Rainbows Never Die.” In 2015, even with a new lineup of members, they still won a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album for the new album The Muscle Shoals Recordings.
