No industry bullshit and the two Orlando natives, Lauren Morgan and Jordan Shih, still managed to sell out The Social.

Morgan and Shih carved out a special place in the ORL scene with their exposed pop, lush sound and matter of fact vocals.

The duo released “Talk A Lot” in the fall of 2017 and left us woozy off its sensuous offering. The single is layered with a jazzy intuition; soft breathing exercises are woven into each chorus, until you suddenly exhale, “denial…“

Always the strategic, if almost blasé, release schedule, SALES gave us space over the winter and put out “Off and On” February of this year. “White Jeans” followed suit in May with the same artwork aesthetic, (a single picture taped onto an off-white background).

No more of the colorful collages we grew accustomed to with the SALES LP. A new, and very exciting SALES era is here. Thank you laid-back pop gods. We’re at your feet.

SALES are bringing good company this tour in No Vacation. The San Francisco-turned Brooklyn bands’ brand of bedroom-esque pop is the perfect compliment.

Local apple of our eye, Sugarplum, joins this lineup with her sweet vocals and stirring melodies. This bill is everything right with the world, all showcased in one. <3
