Rx Bandits have been one of my favorite bands for the past 16 years. Over the course of that time, I have had the privilege of seeing Rx Bandits perform live over thirty times. I have watched these guys open for New Found Glory and Something Corporate then sell out their own headlining shows. With every new release, they take their sound to the next level while staying true to the core Rx Bandits vibe. They started out as a straight up ska band and evolved into their own unique version of progressive rock.

This time around, Rx Bandits will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of one of my favorite albums, And The Battle Begun. They will be playing it in its entirety. Since this album just wouldn’t be the same without horns, they are bringing along a horn section which, is something they haven’t done since the 10th Anniversary of The Resignation back in 2013. This is definitely a show you do not want to miss. Who knows when the next time they play with horns will be?

Rx Bandits always have great bands play with them on tour. In the past I’ve seen Portugal. The Man, The Dear Hunter, and Full Service to name a few. Opening on this tour will be Northern Ireland’s And So I Watch You From Afar. This four piece band from Belfast is one of the best new live groups around. I was turned onto these guys over a year ago but unfortunately, I missed them when they opened for The Fall of Troy last year. I’m very excited to catch them at this show.
