Jim Heath is the Reverend, and he is the undisputed Godfather of Rockabilly and Psychobilly. His band, Reverend Horton Heat, are legendary masters at their craft. They’ve been touring since 1986 and Jim says he feels like he has been on the road a third of his life. Back in the day, the band would do 275 shows a year, but now it’s about 120 shows. Well, cheers to another year. Get ready to say goodbye to 2016 when the Reverend comes to town with a stop at State Theatre in St. Petersburg, Florida on Friday, December 30. Special guests opening up the show are Jello Biafra (former lead singer and songwriter for San Francisco punk rock band Dead Kennedys) and Kentucky rockabilly blues-ers Legendary Shack Shakers.
