Especially, when it’s NEW Pathos, Pathos music.

The Orlando, FL four piece are adept at disguising sadness or life’s confusions as upbeat, danceable tracks to help you work through your feelings. We all have our hangups and restless nights. “Covered in Moonlight” ponders trying on a different skin, one with more confidence, less inhibitions, and maybe less words, too.

There’s a calming urgency to Walsh’s voice, a knowing ambivalence as he coos, “I know you’re not me.” He warbles over warped noises, which sound like the unsettling video game you just can’t stop playing. 

The music video is equally as haunting and whimsical with guitarist Frank Jesmar Palencia dancing in front of images ranging from 80’s workout videos, a serene surf, and even Mr. & Mrs. Brady.

Pathos, Pathos hit their stride with this new track and visual. Emotions, emotions! Evoke, evoke! Cry. Laugh. Get up. Sit down. DANCE. The indie rock foursome are masters of it all, and are just getting started. “Covered in Moonlight” is the first single off their soon to be released EP, Lucky Charm. Lucky us.
