Since wrapping up their last U.S. tour – “USA Blood Moon,” ONEUS has released several compilations of creativity reflecting their musical abilities as a group. Some of which included EPs—Trickster released in May and Malus in September of 2022. Taking aesthetic and sonic influences from Eastern, as well as Western cultures, ONEUS has seemingly blended the best of both worlds to unveil the perfect formula of foreign culture and pop formanality. It’s a rare gift to combine a multitude of musical styles with an all-encompassing popular appeal, but it is in this dynamic where ONEUS seems to thrive! To hear this group’s music is to be transcendent in exploration. The love-child of understated brilliance is undeniable when it comes to a group like this. If you doubt my critique I challenge you to witness this act for yourself and dare you to tell me that you haven’t been transformed. Stats say that I am not the one that is wrong..

The group met during a celebrity reality project “RBW Trainee Real Life – We Will Debut” in late 2017 to showcase the label’s promising male trainees. The (previously six) members came together to show their talents during the Produce 101 frontrunners and later became what we know as ONEUS today. They continued with Rainbow Bridge World (RBW) for their upcoming musical endeavors.

ONEUS (Korean: 원어스), also can be spelled as “One Earth,” is known to have dual meaning – one, is to symbolize that the members came together gathering strength from their fans. The other is to reflect the mission to bring together everyone, side by side, to create a united world. The group currently consists of five members: Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion, all in their mid 20s. They are known for their singles such as “Valkyrie” – which charted in the top 100 of several countries iTunes charts as well as number fifteen on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. “Twilight” and “Lit” also gained the band popularity in 2019 where the group won the “Next Artist Award” at the Soribada Best K-Music Awards the same year.

Now, in 2022, we are embracing singles such as “Same Scent” and “Bring it On” and their latest teaser “Dopamine” released in November.
