Local Artists Competing For a Chance To Perform at Okeechobee Music Festival | Feb 11 at Celine Orlando

Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival is just a few short weeks away! As the days pass by, anticipation grows for one of the best festivals that Florida has to offer. Before we can make our trip through the portal, we are honored to help one talented band achieve their dreams of performing for a crowd of happy people at Okeechobee Music Festival 2022.

Okeechobee Pre-Party Orlando 2022

Florida’s best and brightest bands will compete for a slot to play on the same stages as Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, Porter Robinson, Gary Clark Jr., and more! Help your favorite band earn a slot, enter to win a pass or #OMF22, and check out some of Florida’s up and coming bands. Entry to the show gives you a chance to win a pair of passes, and voting also gives you a chance to win a separate pair of tickets. Join us Friday, February 11th, 2022 at downtown Orlando’s coolest venue, Celine Orlando.

Let’s look at all the talent coming out to represent Central Florida at Okeechobee:

Brandon Vee /// @thatmanvee

Brandon Vee, a NYC-born hip hop artist, is one of the most talented young hip hop artists on the rise in Central Florida. His ability to formulate music in his own style on any type of hip hop is remarkable.

The Forum /// @theforummusic

The Forum has risen to their regional status as one of Florida’s staple indie rock bands. They will bring strong hooks, rhythmic dance beats, and effortless live presence.

Future Joy /// @futurejoymusic

Future Joy is original electronic dance music with a taste of sax and soul born in Denver, Colorado, now calling Central Florida home. Recently brought the beats to No Resolutions in Branford, for NYE.

The Headtones /// @theheadtones

St. Petersburg funk and soul sextet The HeadTones released a new album, Music of Our Lives, in 2019. These guys are veterans of other Florida music festivals, like Gasparilla Music Festival as well as Brainquility.

Jen In The Right Light /// @jitrlmusic

A strong, independent Modern/Indie Rock band based out of Mount Dora Florida. They’ve grown a substantial fanbase since the release of their 2020 full length album, One Way or Another.

Josh Gluck /// @jshgluck

Josh Gluck is a self-taught Alternative/Soul singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from South Florida. The 22-year-old writes and produces his music, taking inspiration from Jimi Hendrix, Anderson . Paak, Frank Ocean, Coldplay & John Mayer.

Take Lead /// @takeleadband

Starting in late 2018, Take Lead created riff-driven indie rock/pop taking contemporary inspiration from bands Coin, Hippo Campus, and Young The Giant. Their new EP, Bail Out, was released on Spotify Friday, February 4, 2020, hear it below.
