NEWS: “London Is Full Of C*nts” According to Kasabian

Last night Kasabian kicked off their UK tour to a stoked, sold out crowd in Glasgow, Scotland at The SSE Hydro. Well, stoked until they saw the big bold letters, “London Is Full Of Cunts,” displayed behind the band during their song “Clouds.”

Apparently, it was a production error, but it seems like someone on the production team may have done this intentionally out of spite or stupidity. Either way, it’s worthy of 1 laugh.

As NME reports, guitarist Serge Pizzorno blamed the band’s production team:

“We were as shocked as anyone else. The production team fucked up. There were supposed to be photos of mundane objects in that section but instead I turned around in the middle of ‘Clouds’ and couldn’t believe my eyes. We were all shocked and certainly didn’t mean to offend anyone.”

What a royal fuck-up, indeed.

Kasabian are scheduled to play five nights in London from December 1 – 6, 2014. We’ll see if those “cunts” come out. (Btw, it must be mentioned that London is not full of cunts, the band The Cold Start resides here in America, actually). 😉
