This Sunday, August 9, 2015 Scottish rockers Nazareth will be playing a very special show at The Plaza Live and we have your free tickets as well as free beer courtesy of Barley & Vine Biergarten. Nazareth formed in Scotland in 1968 and they have been rocking audiences across the globe ever since. Nazareth had a few minor hits in the U.K. before hitting it big with their 1975 album Hair of the Dog. The title track of that album became an instant classic and sent the band to superstardom. Check out a vintage performance of “Hair of the Dog” below.

Nazareth is still going strong after nearly 50 years of playing together. Their newest album Rock n’ Roll Telephone was released in June 2014. Rock n’ Roll Telephone is the last album to feature original singer Dan McCafferty who left the band just prior to its release due to illness. Carl Sentance who formerly played with Persian Risk and The Geezer Butler band will be taking over vocal duties on this tour.
