Little Stranger is the partnership of John and Kevin Shields: friends rather than relatives, originally from Philadelphia and now based in Charleston. John brings a melodic, songwriter-led approach; Kevin supplies the sharper rap delivery. Together they work across indie pop and hip-hop, with rhythm holding the different pieces together.

Friday’s support adds a close musical connection. Vermont singer, guitarist, and Twiddle co-founder Mihali featured Little Stranger on his 2025 album Before The Dream, a record that brings reggae, rock, and pop collaborators into his solo work. Damn Skippy rounds out Friday’s bill.

Saturday adds Badfish and JARV for the Halloween show. To get familiar with Little Stranger before the weekend, explore Trip Around Saturn, released in 2021, along with earlier releases Buddha the Beast, Techniques, and Styles & Dynamics.
