Ticket Giveaway: Lisa Loeb | Coming to The Plaza Live Orlando | May 9, 2015

If you were alive in the ’90s and within earshot of a couple of radio speakers, you heard Lisa Loeb’s voice. You just did. She was the one who sang that song she’ll forever be known by, “(Stay) I Missed You.” Maybe you didn’t know who she was, not then, but that all came to light soon enough: she was that “singer in cat-eye glasses” whether she was going for that trademark or not.

Since then, she’s done far more than rest comfortably on her laurels (and that mammoth coffeehouse hit). She’s sang a whole lot more, acted some, wrote some books and kid music and generally made a career out of what may have been a one-hit wonder. Good for her.

Just so you know, the glasses remain. And any mention of Lisa’s name still makes you hear “yeeeeeah, I missed you” in your head. Some things just don’t change all that much.
