Limp Bizkit is a nu-metal band that emerged in the late 1990s, becoming one of the defining acts of the genre. Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, Limp Bizkit’s second album, Significant Other, released in 1999, featured hits like “Nookie,” “Break Stuff,” and “Re-Arranged.” These hits received heavy airplay on MTV and all the major radio stations. The band’s fusion of rap and metal, along with Durst’s provocative lyrics and charismatic stage presence, resonated with their audience and propelled them to mainstream success.
