WATCH: Leisure Chief “Giant Peach Hip Hop Jam” ft. Damez & BTRUE | Orlando Fringe Festival 2017

Live jazz & funk influenced beats, complimented with conscious hip-hop and improv lyrics, mixed with classic favorites and a freestyle collective rap cohesion. This is what Orlando’s own Leisure Chief and the “Giant Peach Hip Hop Jam” do on a monthly basis at places like Will’s Pub and St. Matthew’s Tavern.

This installment was held in the 8:00 PM time slot at Orlando Fringe Festival at Loch Haven Park in Orlando, Florida on Friday, May 26, 2017. The jam featured Damian Chicata aka “Damez” and Brian Blanchard aka “BTRUE” on the mic’s spittin’ the hot fire and droppin’ some knowledge. Immediately after this set, LC packed up and drove to Jacksonville to close out Jazz Fest After Dark at 1904 & Spliff’s – Friday Show.

Leisure Chief is Derek Engstrom (Vocals, Drums), Chris McMullen (Vocals, Bass), Keegan Matthews (Synth, Organ, Rhodes), Christian Ryan (Alto, Bari Sax), and Jordan Garno (Guitar).
