Indigo Girls Tickets Clearwater 2023

Based out of Atlanta, these women are a force to be reckoned with. They would play weekly performances at bars and pubs and recorded and produced their first album in 1987. Shortly after, they were signed and began their journey to stardom and influence. By 1989, over two million units of their self titled album, Indigo Girls sold. The songs “Closer to Fine” and “Kid Fears,” turned Indigo Girls into one of the most successful folk duos in history. Amy Ray and Emily Saliers launched into embracing their reality, ethnicity, orientation and need for justice in their communities, illuminating this with their guitars and melodic voices.

Over the years the Indigo Girls have been referenced in film, on television shows, and even in Stephen King novels. They have collaborated with other artists to create a unique sound of their own, and bring life and love to the forefront of their music. This world touring duo chooses to lead by example. They are open about their activism in areas such as immigration reform, LGBTQ advocacy, education, Native American rights, and environmental sustainability. Proceeds of this tour will go to their co-founded organization, Honor the Earth.
