Have you let your inner weirdo out in a while? Let me tell you, that thing gets bottled up after a while and can explode into a weird mess when you least expect it if you don’t let it peek out from time to time. I would highly recommend going to Will’s Pub on Sunday night, May 24th, so you can let that freak flag wave around along with all the other weirdos in town that need relief.

So what’s going on exactly? Only “World’s Most Important Live Event” … Yeah, how could you turn down something like that?

There’s actually quite a lineup in store for the night, but the cherry on top of this crazy cake is a psychedelic showcase of comedy and music called Heart of Darkness, and it stars Greg Barris, a stand-up comic from New York’s downtown scene. Apparently, he’s developed quite a reputation in the area and I can see why. I mean, check this out:

Well, I’ll just leave it at that. I can’t say I’ve experienced this show firsthand yet, but it looks like a fantastic, hysterical voyage through all things surreal, whimsical, and sublime.

Leading into that whole wild journey, you have a band called Teen Agers who will return some nostalgic teen party vibes back to your old bag of bones with an energetic blast of punk rock. That should wake you up.

Hey, pay attention! Dromes is playing a DJ set after everything is said and done too. This is something you don’t want to miss. He’s one of the more prominent up-and-coming acts of Orlando’s EDM scene. It’s going to be a great way to chill out your night and land your spaceship in a good place.

Don’t forget to bring your towel. It might get hot or weird, or both. You can always make it a cape too. That’s definitely cool. Towel party? Don’t mind if I do. I hope to see you there, weirdo.
