Ukrainian born Eugene Hütz and his band of gypsy punks, Gogol Bordello, are coming to The Plaza Live in Orlando on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Opening support will come from our friend and former Orlando resident, Amigo The Devil. If you’ve ever been to either a Gogol Bordello show, or an Amigo The Devil show, you know they are both brilliantly unforgettable. ()

Gogol Bordello Tickets Orlando 2022

Gogol Bordello formed in New York in 1999, injecting Eastern European musical influences into underground rock to forge their distinctive “gypsy punk” sound. Since the beginning, Gogol Bordello has united cultures around the world, from their music to their members, which features members from Ukraine, Russia, Ethiopia, Ecuador, and the United States.

The “Solidaritine Tour” will be dedicated to the brave Ukrainian defenders, and a significant portion of proceeds will go to Ukraine’s battle for democracy. The band will also partner with human rights organizations providing relief in Ukraine throughout the tour. Additionally, Bordello recently collaborated with Les Claypool of Primus, Billy Strings, Stewart Copeland (the Police), & Sean Lennon, on the song, “Man With the Iron Balls,” praising Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksky’s courage. The proceeds of the track are set to benefit Nova Ukraine, a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian relief to the people of Ukraine. Come dance in solidarity!

This band is uniquely special to the city of Orlando for as their hit song “Start Wearing Purple” is the theme song for the Orlando City soccer team, whose jersey color is … yes, you know it… purple! To hit home with even more sentiment, former Orlando resident, Amigo The Devil will be joining the gypsy punks on the beautiful stage at The Plaza Live.
