The 2024 Gasparilla Music Festival is taking place from February 16 to 18 at it’s new home — Julian B Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa! The festival kicks off on Friday night with electronic acts Louis the Child, Big Gigantic, and Surf Mesa, creating an energetic atmosphere on the Riverside Stage. Local talent, including rising superstar Aidan Bissett and Parrotfish, will take over the Morgan Auto Fortune Stage. Tampa’s emerging hip-hop scene, featuring breakout emcee Pusha Preme, will be on full display at the Replay Guitar Roberts City Stage.

Saturday brings a joyous start with the Mt Zion Gospel Choir and a variety of bands from across the country, culminating in a headlining set from Young the Giant. Other Saturday highlights include performances by COIN, Trevor Hall, and Beach Weather, as well as New Orleans funk from the Rebirth Brass Band and The Rumble Ft. Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, legendary trailblazers Goodie Mob and Digable Planets will take the stage on Saturday night.

The festival closes out on Sunday with an incredible lineup featuring the incomparable Lake Street Dive, Grammy award-winning blues star Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and progressive bluegrass group Yonder Mountain String Band. Other notable performances on Sunday include The New Mastersounds’ Eddie Roberts & the Lucky Strokes, Allman Brother’s tribute band Steeln’ Peaches, and a special performance by Roosevelt Collier’s GMF Allstar Band.

In addition to the fantastic music, the Gasparilla Music Festival will offer a the Roberts City Village featuring artisans, fashionistas, and craft cocktails, and a Kids Fest presented by Muma Children’s Hospital on Sunday. GMF is put on by The Gasparilla Music Foundation — a Florida 501(c)-3 non-profit corporation that organizes an annual music festival in Tampa and supports music education through its Recycled Tunes program.
