Hailing from Greater Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Dying Fetus was formed in ‘91. Their catchy riffs and interesting hooks make for some killer songs like “Subjected to a Beating,” “Grotesque Impalement,” and “Wrong One to F*ck With.” These guys have been putting out badass records since ‘96 and recently offered up Wrong One to Fuck With, in 2017. Blast beats, complex guitar work, and heavy breakdowns are all on the menu for this cornucopia of hardcore music. The tour features special guests like Chelsea Grin, Bodysnatcher, Frozen Soul, and Undeath, and is making a stop at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL on May 6th (TICKETS HERE!) Dying Fetus’ name is replant, but their diehard fans could care less. The controversially and purposefully named Dying Fetus is responsible for leading the way when it comes to combining metal and hardcore music. This grindcore group will never have as much success as their talent, because of their name, but this fearsome foursome is a band to be reckoned with.

Chelsea Grin is bringing deathcore all the way from Salt Lake City, UT while Bodysnatcher pins you down with another set of Melbourne, FL’s version of deathcore music. The evening will begin with performances from Rochester, NY’s skull-crushing death metal band Undeath before being destroyed by Dallas’ metal outfit’s Frozen Soul.

This amazing band will be filling the confines of St. Pete’s coolest outdoor venue, Jannus Live. Here, patrons can enjoy their favorite music while soaking up the Florida sunshine right around the corner from so many great restaurants in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. Numerous spots to buy refreshments dot the courtyard and a balcony overhead houses covered and posh VIP suites for your high-end enjoyment.
