“The Medic” of my soul, the best post-rock offerings of 2015 are headed to Florida — that’s right, we’re talking about Foxing. With stops at The Social in Orlando and Crowbar in Tampa, we’re set for a solid stretch of gorgeous emo instrumentals.

From the gorgeous wails of The Albatross to the follow-up sensation that is Dealer, it’s safe to say that we’re all in love with Foxing here at Shows I Go To. Nothing quite pierced us more than seeing them live at The Fest in Gainesville back in October, or better yet, Tyler Holland and Rebecca Weinberg’s incredible experience at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.

When listening to Foxing, it’s the most baring and raw musical experience. Each chord in heart-wrenching “Rory” is an emotional strike, a begging question that yearns best from the vocals of frontman Conor Murphy. The song is a bewitching, powerful dive into the most raw of feelings, struck by both the tugging instrumentals and heavy lyricism.

Every key drop, every plucking of strings throughout 2015’s Dealer is equally intoxicating. “Night Channels” and “The Magdalene” are just a few more of the alluring indie tracks wrapped within an acclaimed album.
