Whether you know their whole catalog or not, we are all familiar with “The Final Countdown” by Swedish band Europe. The song was a huge hit in the 80’s but over the last few years it has seen a resurgence after being featured as failed magician Gob Bluth’s theme song on Arrested Development. More recently, the entire band was seen performing “The Final Countdown” on a commercial for Geico Insurance.  For me, “The Final Countdown” holds a special place in my heart because it was the last song to play at my wedding. As I danced the night away, I was handed a copy of the album on vinyl and one of my favorite pictures of the whole wedding was taken.

Europe will be making a stop at House of Blues Orlando, this Thursday February 4, 2016 (Win tickets below). The band is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the album “The Final Countdown” with same lineup that recorded the legendary album. Don’t miss your chance to see Europe live on this rare U.S. tour.
