Whether you know their whole catalog or not, we are all familiar with “The Final Countdown” by Swedish band Europe. The song was a huge hit in the 80’s but over the last few years it has seen a resurgence after being featured as failed magician Gob Bluth’s theme song on Arrested Development. More recently, the entire band was seen performing “The Final Countdown” on a commercial for Geico Insurance. For me, “The Final Countdown” holds a special place in my heart because it was the last song to play at my wedding. As I danced the night away, I was handed a copy of the album on vinyl and one of my favorite pictures of the whole wedding was taken.
Europe will be making a stop at House of Blues Orlando, this Thursday February 4, 2016 (Win tickets below).
