SIGT: Why the name change?

Eric: In short, we didn’t feel like our original name represented us very well, so we came up with something that fit better, while also deciding the original was a better name for our upcoming album.
Josh: We wanted our name to be not only more reflective of our sound, but also more relatable. We want people to be able to identify with it.

SIGT: Where did the bad-ass graphic come from?

Josh: Eric came up with an original concept that we bounced back and forth for a while until we came to what we have. He did all the actual graphic design.
Eric: We were talking about Electric Dawn as a band name and the idea just popped into my head. I spent a couple of days on it, sharing iterations with the guys, until we ended up with what you see.

SIGT: What’s next for Electric Dawn?

Josh: Our show at The Social on Saturday, July 29th, opening up for Galactic Empire. Also on the bill are Dangerkids and our friends, Moonmen from Mars.
