On Saturday, May 23rd, House of Blues in Orlando will be raided by Dragonforce and Kamelot! If you can appreciate some wild speed-demon power metal that will make you feel like you’re the hero in an epic retro video game, you will want to be front and center for this one (win tickets below)!

Dragonforce hails from London and they’ve been rocking hard since 1999, if that tells you anything about their level of dragon taming abilities and musical prowess. If you’re not already familiar, just give their most recent album, Maximum Overload, a listen and you’ll have a good idea of what you’re in for:

I just want to know how it’s possible for them to fit that many notes into such a short amount of time! There’s got to be some kind of wizard magic in the works here because those fingers should be smoking and blistered to hell. Perhaps they’ve just sold their souls to an ancient dragon for some mystical powers. Dragonforce.. hmm.. yeah, that would make sense though, wouldn’t it? 🙂

That’s not all you get for this show either. If you enjoy powerful metal, this is the experience you’ve been waiting for because Kamelot packs a killer punch and they’ve been playing even longer than Dragonforce. These guys have been locking tight and driving forward like a brutal juggernaut since 1991. Better yet, they’re from Tampa, Florida.

I’m already blown away by the climactic journey with which my ears have been exposed. This show will not be for the faint of heart. I expect that it’s going to punch you in the chest, grab your heart, and compel you to join in the ultimate battle between good and evil.
