Don’t Stop St. Pete is in its fourth year and better than ever. The one day extravaganza packs in music, art, and a good cause all into the beautiful backdrop that is St. Petersburg, FL.

DSSP is synonymous with philanthropy. Each year the event aligns with an important local organization and helps bring attention to the cause. This year Don’t Stop is pairing with People for Protecting Peace River, a group dedicated to passionately fighting for the preservation of the Peace and Myakka River watersheds.

The goal of 3PR is to end the damage being done by phosphate strip mining, and to promote a superior quality of life in the Peace River Heartland.”

Shakespeare famously wrote, “If music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it; that surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die.”

It may be trite or overused, but the truth in this classic statement still stands strong. The theme of the day is love and community and what better way to celebrate this, then to showcase all the amazing local and regional musical talent. An incredible slue of bands are slated to play on either of four stages; two indoor, two outdoor.

PRIEST

After a while off the road, the electronic indie-pop from Orlando, Florida will have her first show in over a year. Her music is ethereal synth to soothe the ache. “Passion Pit meets Metric meets a treasure chest filled with glitter.” After signing with Nordic Records in 2017, she’s energized, empowered, and there’s plenty in store, including the release of her much-anticipated “Secret EP”.
