Bullet for My Valentine, also known as BFMV!, or simply “Bullet,” is this heavy metal band from the UK that have been thrashing for nearly twenty years! Luckily, I have been able to see these guys perform live nearly ten times and each time they seem to be better than the last. One thing is for sure about seeing these guys live, it’s guaranteed to be a non-stop metal show from the first song till the last!
They always start off a show with a big, thrash-to-your-face force metal of a song. Each time I’ve seen them they opened with either “Your Betrayal,”
“Scream Aim Fire,” or “No Way Out.” All of these songs are the perfect way to get their type of show going. Each song starts out with either guitarist/ vocalist, Matt Tuck screaming his brains out or drummer Moose Thomas pounding the drums. It will be a no holds barred battle in the pit that won’t end until the final chord is struck at House of Blues Orlando on Saturday, February 27, 2016! (WIN TICKETS BELOW.)
If you have not seen Bullet for My Valentine you really should at least experience them once, and House of Blues is a great venue to see them live. I have seen them twice already at House of Blues and both times I had an amazing time.
The first song I ever heard by Bullet for My Valentine was “All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me).” It’s a great song that was so catchy it inspired me to listen to the rest of their music. After seeing them live for the first time at Earthday Birthday 14 back in 2007, I became a full-fledged BFMV! fan.
Some of the greatest live moments of my life have come at BFMV shows. I remember seeing a bum rush of people crashing over the barriers at “Taste of Chaos” to get down to the floor for Bullet right as “Scream Aim Fire” opened up. The show definitely earned the name “Taste of Chaos” that night! 😉 Another one of my favorite Bullet for My Valentine moments was when I was able to practically lay on their speakers when I photographed their show at “Welcome to Rockville” in 2013. You can’t get your heart beating harder any other way!
