Billy Joel Announces Orlando Camping World Stadium Tickets 2022

JUST ANNOUNCED — Billy Joel to perform at Camping World Stadium in Orlando!

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer held a press conference today at 1:30pm to announce Billy Joel is performing his only stadium show in Florida here in Orlando, FL at Camping World Stadium (previously called by locals, The Citrus Bowl, from 1983-2016). Camping World Stadium has a capacity 65,000!

The event is taking place on March, 12, 2022. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, November 12, 2020 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at ticketmaster.com. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets beginning Monday, November 8th at 10am through Thursday, November 11 at 10 p.m.

Camping World Stadium is owned and operated by the City of Orlando. Since opening in 1936 as a Works Progress Administration project by President Franklin D. Roosevelt at the cost of $115,000 and a capacity of 8,900, the stadium has undergone numerous expansions and name changes over the years. The historic venue underwent a massive $207.7 million reconstruction in 2014, which yielded 90% all-new construction and a completely modernized stadium. Its sustainable design achieved a LEED Silver Certification for new construction from the U.S. Green Building Council. The numerous enhancements and amenities include 41,000 lower bowl seats with chair backs, two 360-degree concourses, multiple giant video displays, a 20,000 square-foot plaza deck, a vibrant open-air exterior and unique indoor & outdoor club spaces to serve 5,000 patrons.
