BEAT: Performing the Music of ’80s King Crimson will be a night of incredible talent and rock. Adrian Belew, will be shredding the guitar and has played with Frank Zappa, Bowie, King Crimson, NIN and The Talking Heads through out his years. Tony Levin, will be holding down the bass, and has performed with legends like Peter Gabriel. Grammy award winning, Steve Via and previous guitarist for Zappa, will a force to be reckoned with, combining his technique with a theatrical stage presence. Danny Carey will put his studies of geometry, jazz, and rock to work on the drums, otherwise the drummer for Tool. This talented roster of musicians will be performing King Crimson’s album Beat, with tracks like “Neal and Jack and Me” and “The Howler” directly reference the themes and characters of the Beat movement, blending these literary inspirations with King Crimson’s signature blend of progressive rock, new wave, and experimental music. BEAT will be a show that transcends — a journey into the heart of ’80s progressive music. Don’t miss this epic night.
