LIVE REVIEW — aespa Brings Their SYNK: COMPLaeXITY Tour to Miami for an Unforgettable Night

by • October 16, 2026

On September 26, aespa brought their SYNK: COMPLaeXITY tour to the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, for a night full of incredible performances, amazing vocals, and MYs showing just how much they love the girls. As someone who has been a fan of aespa since their debut, getting to see them live was already exciting. I was especially looking forward to their solo performances, and I was lucky enough to have floor seats close to the extended stage, which gave me an amazing view of the entire show. Being that close made it so much easier to appreciate all the little details, from the choreography and outfits to the expressions on their faces while performing. aespa have always been a group that stands out to me, and getting to see them bring their concept to life on such a big stage was an experience I won’t forget anytime soon.

One of the things I love about aespa is how they have always had their own identity since debuting in 2020. From the beginning, their music and visuals have been connected to this futuristic world involving their æ-avatars, KWANGYA, and the different stories they have built through their releases. Even as their sound and concept have evolved, they’ve managed to keep that distinct aespa identity while experimenting with different styles of music. Between the futuristic visuals, bold styling, strong choreography, and songs that are practically made to be performed in front of a crowd, their concerts feel like a full experience rather than just a series of performances. Seeing everything come together in person made me appreciate how much work goes into creating an aespa show, especially with the different acts and VCRs that helped tell the story throughout the night.

The concert opened with an intro that included elements of “ænergy” before moving into “Welcome to MY World,” “LEMONADE,” and “Switchblade.” It was such a good way to start the show, especially getting to hear these songs live while seeing the production up close. The setlist continued with “Whiplash,” “Black Mamba,” and “WDA (Whole Different Animal),” giving the crowd plenty of reasons to get loud early on. Hearing “Black Mamba” was particularly special because it brought things back to where it all started for aespa. It’s crazy to think about how much has changed since their debut and how far the girls have come since then. They have gone from introducing themselves with a completely different concept from most other groups to becoming one of the most recognizable names in K-pop, and you could feel how much the crowd loved them throughout the night.

The audience was LOUD, and it was so fun looking around and seeing everyone enjoying themselves. One of my favorite things about K-pop concerts is seeing how much effort fans put into their outfits, and the Miami crowd definitely understood the assignment. Everyone around us looked amazing, and it was fun seeing all the different ways people expressed their love for aespa through their looks. Some fans went all out, and others kept things simple, but everyone brought their own energy to the show. Being surrounded by people who love the same group as you always makes the experience better, especially when the entire venue is singing along and cheering for the members.

After the first act, a VCR introduced the next section of the show, followed by “Count on Me,” which featured an acoustic intro with Karina on piano. As a Karina bias, getting to see her play piano was already a highlight for me. She has so many different sides to her as a performer, and I love when she gets to show something beyond her usual stage presence and choreography. It’s easy to get caught up in how good she looks onstage, but moments like this also give fans a chance to appreciate her musicality and the more intimate side of her performances. Seeing her at the piano was such a nice change of pace before the concert picked up again.

The set continued with “Camouflage,” “Angel #48,” “Can’t Help Myself,” and “KISS N TELL.” I was especially excited to hear “Can’t Help Myself” live because it is one of those songs that really works in a concert setting. The energy was so good, and hearing the vocals in person made me love the song even more. Sometimes you have songs you already enjoy listening to, but seeing them performed live gives you a completely different appreciation for them. The girls sounded amazing, and it was great getting to hear their voices carry through the arena while watching the choreography from such a close distance.

As someone who has been a Karina and Winter bias since debut, I was so excited to see their solos and get to experience these stages in person. The act opened with “Lollipop,” performed by Ningning and Giselle, before moving into the individual stages. I love when groups give their members opportunities to show their individual styles during concerts because it reminds everyone that, while they work so well together as a group, each member has something different to bring to the stage. Karina performed “16 Bit,” and being seated on the floor so close to the extended stage meant I had an amazing view of her performance. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better spot, especially for one of the stages I was most excited to see. I’ve loved Karina since aespa debuted, and getting to watch her perform right in front of me was such a surreal feeling. She has always had such a strong stage presence, and seeing her in person really showed just how naturally she commands the stage. You can watch fancams and performances online as much as you want, but being there in person and seeing everything with your own eyes is a completely different experience. Karina’s solo was easily one of the highlights of the night for me, and I was so happy that my seat gave me such a good view.

Winter’s solo, “Saddle Up,” was another performance I had been looking forward to. Winter has such a distinct presence onstage, and I love seeing her get the chance to show off her own style outside of aespa’s group performances. Being a fan since debut means I’ve watched the members grow and develop as performers over the years, so getting to see them take on their own stages feels especially rewarding. Her solo was another reminder of why she is one of my favorite members, and I loved getting to experience it live. Giselle performed “BYEB4HELLO,” followed by Ningning’s “I Love You but I Gotta Let You Go.” Both performances gave the members their own opportunities to show different sides of themselves. Ningning has such a powerful voice, and it is always exciting getting to hear her sing live. All four members have their own strengths, and the solo section made it easy to appreciate how different they are while still seeing how well they fit together as aespa. The act wrapped up with “Serenade,” performed by Karina and Winter, which was another special moment for me because I love seeing the two of them together.

Following another VCR, the concert moved into Act 4 with “Armageddon” and “Bite.” The energy shifted again, and it was such a good reminder of how versatile aespa are as performers. Their concept has always allowed them to explore darker, more intense visuals, and songs like these really suit the atmosphere they create onstage. The production, choreography, and overall styling all worked together to make the performances feel powerful. Watching everything from the floor made the show even more enjoyable because I could see so much of what was happening onstage while still getting a great view of the extended stage.

The dancers then performed an interlude featuring “Dirty Work” and “Dark Arts” before aespa returned with an EDM version of “Next Level.” Hearing “Next Level” live is such a fun experience because it is one of those songs that immediately gets people excited. The song has become such an important part of aespa’s identity, and the crowd’s reaction made it clear how much everyone still loves it. Even years after its release, it remains one of those tracks that fans can recognize almost immediately, and seeing it performed in front of a packed arena was so much fun.

The girls continued with “SHAKIN’” and a remix of “Supernova” before moving through the rest of the act. “SHAKIN’” was another one of my favorite performances of the night. The energy was incredible, and it was one of those songs that made me want to dance along with everyone around me. I already loved the song, but hearing it live made it even better. I also loved seeing how much confidence the members have developed onstage over the years. aespa have always been known for their strong performances, but seeing them in person makes it easier to appreciate the amount of control and presence they bring to a show. They can move from intense choreography to vocal-focused moments and then straight into songs that get the entire crowd jumping, all while maintaining their own personalities onstage. It’s one of the reasons they have become such a loved group, and Miami gave them plenty of energy to work with.

The final act began with another VCR before aespa returned to perform “YEPPI YEPPI” and “’Til We Die.” I loved that the setlist included different sides of their discography rather than focusing on just one sound or era. aespa have released so much music since their debut, and their discography has continued to grow alongside their concept. One thing I kept thinking about throughout the concert was how much love aespa have built up over the years, especially seeing the crowd in Miami. The girls have a very dedicated fanbase, and it was so clear that the people around me were genuinely excited to be there. From everyone’s outfits to the cheering and singing along, the atmosphere made the whole experience feel even more special. Florida crowds can bring so much energy to a show, and it was great seeing that love directed toward aespa. I hope the members could feel how appreciated they were because the crowd really did give them so much to work with.

aespa’s SYNK: COMPLaeXITY tour stop at the Kaseya Center was a night I was so happy to be part of. Between the incredible vocals, the solo stages, the amazing outfits from fans, and the energy throughout the arena, there was so much to love about the show. I went in excited to see my favorite girls, especially their solos, and left with an even bigger appreciation for what aespa bring to the stage. Miami showed them so much love, and I hope the girls know just how much they are appreciated by MYs in Florida and everywhere else.
