NYC’s MisterWives combine solid, flowery pop vocals and a fun horn section for the perfect mix of indie pop that’s easy to adore (think Ellie Goulding vocals meets Rubblebucket party horns). Every track on their new release and first full-length studio release, Our Own House, delivers earnest lyrics and substantial music that highlights the fun parts from many genres. The album also includes a sugary cover of Vance Joy’s “Riptide.”

Check out singer Mandy Lee and the rest of MisterWives when the Scrapbook Tour touches down in Orlando at House of Blues on Tuesday, October 6. The show will also features openers Waters and CRUISR. Doors are at 7:00PM and all ages are welcomed.
