Shaky Knees Music Festival Announces INSANE 2016 Lineup! | Florence + the Machine, At the Drive-In, Eagles of Death Metal, MMJ, and more! | Centennial Park in Atlanta, Georgia, May 13-15, 2016

It’s the ultimate festiv-ALL! Shaky Knees Music Festival returns to the Centennial Olympic Park & International Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia from May 13-15, 2016, and it’s an explosive lineup that has most of us at Show I Go To still trying to find our balance.

Consider Shaky Knees, the showcase of sound the South deserves. It’s a lineup that offers so many incredible artists of countless genres that my ears are ringing just from excitement. Just skim the little quick-list I put together to attempt to surmise the excellence that is this line-up…

Every one of us on staff who looked at this spectacular list screamed over different bands. Tyler Holland and mom/dad Mitch Foster lost it over At the Drive-In, Foxing, and Beach Slang. I lost my mind over a full set of Sports by Huey Lewis and the News, Hop Along, Against Me!, JJ Grey & Mofro, Foals, and Houndmouth.

We all have different bands that got our hearts all twitter-pated, with a few crossovers, too. We love shows, and are possibly addicted to them — but Shaky Knees might just offer us the ultimate experience. Looks like we’re going to have to rent a bus to get everyone on our team to Atlanta!

If the variety and eclecticism of this festival hasn’t made your heart stop, maybe this will: Florence and the Machine. The 1975. The Decemberists. The Sword. Eagles of Death Metal. Um, watch out Coachella and Bonnaroo — we might have the better deal as far as variety and quality acts are concerned.

In the course of three days, we’ll see Grammy award winners, up-and-comers, and most importantly, impassioned performers that will mark the start of our memorable summer. Maybe we’ll see you there? 🙂
